The San Francisco Giants' home opener isn't exactly going off without a hitch.
First, the chance of rain made fans fear possible rain delays, or even a cancellation. (For the record, while there's a 60 percent chance of rain at the ballpark this afternoon, a cancellation is looking unlikely.)
But as if the weather wasn't enough of a curveball, it looks like there are issues with a North Bay ferry, too. The Golden Gate Ferry announced Friday that it wouldn't be operating the planned direct service to Oracle Park for Opening Day. Instead, the agency suggested Giants fans take the regularly scheduled Larkspur Ferry to the Ferry Building and walk or take Muni to the ballpark.
