Following the San Francisco Giants' historic late collapse vs. the Oakland Athletics Friday night, Dave Kaval, the extremely online team president of the A's, fired off a tweet inviting Giants fans to hop on his team's bandwagon.
The Giants choked away a 7-2 ninth inning lead after a five-run implosion from closer Trevor Gott that was partially fueled by an egregiously bad error from first baseman Wilmer Flores. It was the first time the Giants blew a five-run lead in the ninth inning or later since 1929.
After the A's won the game in extra innings, Kaval tweeted a clip art image of a bandwagon with the caption, "Hey @SFGiants fans.
