SAN FRANCISCO – Trevor Brown isn’t sure who said it. But he definitely heard it.
“Hey Huddy!” someone shouted in the dugout. “How does it feel to be throwing to your kid?”
Brown will be 24 in November, so it’s not like he was ditching pre-calculus to catch Tim Hudson on Sunday. But it was his second major league start behind the plate. He was working with a 40-year-old right-hander who led all active pitchers with 221 victories.
Make it 222.

Bruce Bochy said he didn’t want to tell Brown he’d be starting Saturday with Mike Leake.
