This afternoon was just about the Most Giants-y Game of the year. This year, that is. They took a dump in the 1st when rookie Kyle Harrison pitched like, y'know, a rookie, and rookie third baseman Casey Schmitt played like, y'know, a rookie. Anyway, rookie Luis Matos salvaged something from an inept rally in the bottom of the 1st, then the Guardians tacked on, and it was 5-1 after two. It looked just like all those other hideous losses where the starter/opener takes it on the chin and the team can't recover.
