When Evan Longoria joined the 300-homer club in the Giants' win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Aug. 21, broadcasters Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow believed the Giants third baseman would someday reach 400 career homers.
That's a tall task for the 34-year-old who turns 35 in October. But on Friday, Longoria took a small step towards the 400-homer mark with No. 301 in the Giants' 7-4 loss to those same D-Backs.

Longoria had 30-plus homer power earlier in his career, but he hasn't reached that threshold since he hit 36 with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2016.
