If you watch Sunday night's series finale on ESPN, you will hear a lot about how the Giants-Cubs games could be a postseason preview, and how great it would be if they did meet in October.
I think it would be great, too. I covered the 1989 National League Championship Series between the teams and it was a blast. You couldn't ask for more than Will Clark and Mark Grace both hitting the tar out of the ball all series and watching the Chicago fans dream for a moment of a championship.
