Brandon Hicks is bound for Glendale, Arizona.
The Dodgers have given former Giants second baseman Brandon Hicks a non-roster invitation to spring training, the club announced on Wednesday.
Hicks signed with the Giants as a free agent in November 2013, and made the 2014 Opening Day roster.
Over his first 41 games (38 starts), he hit .200 with eight home runs and 20 RBI.
Over his next 30 appearances (21 starts), hit hit .095 with zero home runs, two RBI and 34 strikeouts.
Hicks' last at-bats came on July 10, and his struggles paved the way for Joe Panik's emergence.
