The Giants ended the most successful decade in their San Francisco history with a deflating thud of a stinker that refused to die. The Dodgers set a new franchise record for wins, getting their 106th as they swept the Giants with a second consecutive shutout. But today was all about Bruce Bochy and saying goodbye.
This post went up a little bit late because there was an hour-long ceremony tacked on to the end of this very bad and still somehow nearly three-and-a-half-hour loss. Maybe the most important ceremony we’ll see in our lifetimes as Giants fans.
