D'Backs starter Archie Bradley was hit in the face by a line drive off the bat of Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez Tuesday. (USATSI)

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks have placed pitcher Archie Bradley on the 15-day disabled list with a sinus fracture in the right side of his face after he was struck by a line drive.

Bradley was taken to the hospital for tests when he was hurt in the second inning of Tuesday's game against the Colorado Rockies.
