Crawford out after dislocating finger on slide

LOS ANGELES -- Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford left Tuesday night's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second inning with a dislocated left pinkie.

Crawford had prolonged the Giants' half of the second with a two-out single, then slid headfirst -- risking injury to his hand -- as he tried to advance to third base on Brandon Belt's single but was thrown out by Dodgers left fielder Andrew Toles.
