LOS ANGELES -- The Giants dodged one significant injury Tuesday night. They're hoping an MRI on Wednesday morning brings similar news.
Johnny Cueto will undergo tests on his strained left groin to determine the severity of an injury that kept him from continuing in the sixth inning of Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Dodgers. Cueto said he has never had a groin strain, so he's not sure what to make of the discomfort.
"It was like a crab was biting me," he said.
Cueto took a shutout into the sixth but he called for a trainer.
