The Giants scored the go-ahead run that grabbed them a win on a wild pitch. But, they wouldn't have come out on top, 3-2 over the Brewers, without their power arm and bat in Madison Bumgarner and Buster Posey.
On the hill, Bumgarner went eight innings and only allowed two earned runs and four hits while striking out eight. Bumgarner improved to 8-2 with a 1.91 ERA. He also went 1-for-2 and was walked twice.
At the plate, it was the Buster Posey show. Posey went 4-for-5 with four singles and scored a run.
The Giants improved to 40-26 on the season.
