Bumgarner, Federowicz complete odd feat for second time in Giants history

While starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner hit his third home run of the season, catcher Tim Federowicz went deep for the first time in over three years on Sunday.

What the two did in Giants history is much stranger. For just the second time in team history, a starting pitcher hit a home run as did his replacement in the lineup, also clearing the wall later in the same game.

The only other duo to do so was Livan Hernandez and Bill Mueller on July 28, 2000.
