A San Francisco Giants fan and Santa Cruz County native who was severely beaten at a Giants-Dodgers game in March 2011 spoke to students at Hydesville Elementary School to share an anti-bullying message.
Over the course of a few hours Friday morning, Bryan Stow talked about how a couple of adult bullies in Los Angeles completely changed his life.
“Bullies changed my life forever,” Stow told a group of about 60 third- through fifth-graders. “… We are here to talk about being kind to others and not being bullies.”
Stow, with the help of some slideshows and inspirational songs, including “Eye of the Tiger,” that had at least one student lip-synching along, told how a trip to Los Angeles in March 2011 left him with a traumatic brain injury.
