Milwaukee reliever Josh Hader, pitching in his first road game since his offensive tweets from seven years ago re-emerged, was booed Thursday night at AT&T Park.
The lefty was summoned from the bullpen down the first-base line with two outs in the sixth inning and needed one pitch to retire Brandon Crawford. Hader also pitched the seventh and earned the win.
When introduced, Hader jogged onto the diamond amid a smattering of boos, nothing thunderous but sharper in some parts of the park than others.
