HOUSTON–Giants first baseman Brandon Belt and hitting coach Alonzo Powell will soon have new bling to show off around the clubhouse.
Belt is awaiting the arrival of a Rockwell watch he earned for securing the National League Player of the Week honor.
Powell will receive an accessory with a little more meaning.
Prior to the start of Tuesday’s game in Houston, Powell will be recognized in front of the Astros crowd and presented with his 2017 World Series ring.
