SAN FRANCISCO — The inside lane appears to belong to Jarrett Parker.
Conventional wisdom would suggest that the Giants top offseason priority this winter will be closing the revolving door in left field by bringing in a legitimate outfielder that they can pencil into the lineup on a day-to-day basis.
The Giants have started 12 different left fielders this season who’ve combined to bat .245 with eight home runs and 59 RBI.
Parker won the opening day start in left field out of spring training, but his season quickly hit a snag when he broke his right clavicle while crashing into the wall to make a stunning catch on April 15.
