SAN DIEGO -- Giants first baseman Brandon Belt, the king of launch angle, used his unique skill to record his first career grand slam in Friday's San Francisco-San Diego game.
With the Giants trailing, 4-1, Belt erased the deficit by clearing the right-center-field barrier with a sixth-inning drive off Padres starter Luis Perdomo. Belt's smash followed pinch-hitter Conor Gillaspie's single, Joe Panik's double and Aaron Hill's walk.
