SAN FRANCISCO -- The Giants officially announced their agreement with first baseman Brandon Belt on a five-year contract extension through the 2021 season. Financial terms were not immediately available.
Belt joined shortstop Brandon Crawford and catcher Buster Posey as Giants who are locked up with the club contractually through at least 2021.
Belt, who turns 28 later this month, hit .280/.356/.478 with a career-best 18 home runs and 68 RBIs last season. He's a .271 career hitter through five seasons in the big leagues.
