But stealing a word from Stephen Curry's somber Game 7 post-mortem after their unthinkable demise against the Cleveland Cavaliers, that notion could require some time to "marinate." If misery loves historical company, though, Curry and Co. have a lot of it. The 1990 49ers, the 2002 Giants, the 1988 A's, the 1972 Raiders and the 2013 Sharks definitely feel their pain, as do a number of other Bay Area teams that came up short in agonizing fashion.
