The only blemish on Logan Webb's line today happened on his 102nd (and last) pitch. Alex Bregman clubbed a homer with two outs in the 8th and a man on to cut into the Giants 3-0 lead. Webb had cruised through the 6th and 7th but a walk and a hit put two on. After a double play he gave up the bomb to the lefty slugger. It was a good spot for a lefty reliever to come in and close the door but Kap let Webb go after Bregman. It didn't work out but I suspect Webb really wanted a chance to finish the frame.
