Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors was injured the same day as Madison Bumgarner. It was a dark day in Bay Area sports, with two of the Bay’s super stars going down within hours of each other.
However, Curry’s injury didn’t end up being quite as long-lasting as Bumgarner’s, and he made his return on Tuesday night in Golden State’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans in Game 2 of the NBA Western Conference semi-finals.
Curry came off of the bench in his 2018 playoff debut, scoring 28 points on 15 attempted shots in a little over 27 minutes and giving the series that extra spark that only he could.
