After a promising start to the offseason that saw them sign slugger Willy Adames, the San Francisco Giants have failed to make another impact deal. But apparently it hasn’t been for a lack of trying.
On Thursday, the Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reported the Giants were interested in a trade with the Chicago White Sox to land All-Star outfielder Luis Robert Jr. Rosenthal noted that the Giants “expressed interest in Robert earlier this offseason” but the discussions died on the vine.
