The San Francisco Giants are back home, ready to kick off a three-game set against the Houston Astros. And we’re all ready to hope that it goes better than the last game did.
Taking the mound for the Giants is young lefty Kyle Harrison, who makes his 14th start of the year. The 22 year old is 4-3 with a 4.18 ERA, a 4.11 FIP, and 65 strikeouts to 22 walks in 71 innings this year. He’s hit a little bit of a rookie wall though, as he’s given up at least three earned runs in five consecutive outings.
