San Francisco Giants third base coach Roberto Kelly had to leave Sunday night's game in Los Angeles after he was hit in the head by an errant throw prior to the Giants batting in the top of the seventh inning.
Kelly, who was replaced at third by assistant hitting coach Steve Decker, was expected to fly home with the team after the 3-1 loss to the Dodgers.
"He was dizzy and took a pretty good shot to the head, and that's why we took him out of the game," manager Bruce Bochy said after the game.
