We’re slowly but surely nearing the end of the 2021 Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect List. In Wednesday’s iteration, we added a new name that many people felt had been overlooked: left-handed reliever Sam Long, who is receiving rave reviews at Spring Training.
Long dominated the competition in his first and only appearance on the CPL, and has been voted as the No. 38 prospect in the San Francisco Giants farm system. Now we move onto No. 39.
