Bruce Bochy guided the Giants to their third World Championship in five years, knocking off the Royals with a dramatic Game Seven victory.
Now Bochy has a shot at a personal award, as he has been named one of the three finalists for the 2014 NL Manager of the Year.
He won the same award in 1996 with the San Diego Padres.
He joins the Pittsburgh Pirates' Clint Hurdle and Washington Nationals' Matt Williams - two managers he already beat on the field during the 2014 playoffs. The voting was conducted before the playoff season though.
The winner will be announced Thursday November 11th as part of MLB's awards week.
