As I listen to KNBR 680, the home of the San Francisco Giants radio broadcast, I hear Giants fan complaining about Miguel Tejada. Yes, Miguel Tejada has got off to a slow start, but I don’t think Giants fans need to give up on him so fast.
Tejada’s average is now over .200 and in the last 10 games he has gone 10 for 38 with 3 runs and 4 runs batted in. 3 of the 4 RBI’s have come in the past 2 games, so before everyone starts doubting him remember it’s only the middle of May and the Giants are in 1st place. They do not need to get rid of Tejada, they just need to let him do what he has done his whole career and work through slumps like a veteran.
