SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco women's cross country runner, Charlotte Taylor, has been named a nominee for the 2018 Honda Sport Award for cross country, as announced by Executive Director of THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards, Chris Voelz, on Monday.
This is the first Honda Sport Award nomination for Taylor. The senior ended the 2017 cross country campaign with several strong performances, including individual titles and course records at both the West Coast Conference Championships and NCAA West Region Championships. At the NCAA National Championships, Taylor finished the race in third place on the way to earning her second consecutive USTFCCCA All-American honor in cross country, and third All-American overall.
