SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Senior Margarita Treyes, a member of the University of San Francisco's women's tennis team, clinched the match for the fourth time this season, this time winning over Nevada, 4-3, on Friday afternoon at the Olympic Club.
The Dons made a strong comeback in the final four pairs of the match. Mya Bui at No. 1 gave the Dons momentum after tallying their first singles win over Marta Ruedas 6-3, 7-5. Singles competition became a dominating effect, when Emily Maxfield at No. 2 defeated Adriana Gergelyova in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5.
