BERKELEY — For the second year in a row, the University of San Francisco's women's tennis team had two Dons make it to the final rounds in singles to highlight the Cal Fall Invitational in Berkeley last weekend.
In singles consolation, flew past UC Davis's Nikita Pradeep after a withdraw due to illness, later facing Nevada's Marta Ruedas in quarterinfals taking her down in straight sets, 6-1;6-1. In the semifinal round, Borjeson took on fellow teammate beating her 6-2;6-2. In the final round, Borjeson faced Santa Barbara's Tiffany Lagarde [6] and finished with a 6-1;2-5 score including an injury from Gauchos for the automatic victory.
