SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco women's soccer team could not get it going offensively on Wednesday evening, as they fell 1-0 to visiting Loyola Marymount. The Dons (8-4-1/1-1-0 WCC) outshot the Lions (3-7-2/2-0-0 WCC) 10-8 but it did not matter as a penalty kick 56 minute proved to be the difference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Dons opened the game on the attack, took a pair of shots in the first half, the first that was saved by LMU's keeper Sadie Keeny which led to one of USF's two first half corner kicks.
