SAN FRANCISCO — The University of San Francisco women's soccer team (6-3-0) dominated in all facets of match, taking down Sacramento State (1-6-1), 5-0, under the Friday night lights at Negoesco Stadium.
Four of the five Dons shots were scored solely in the first half. At the 8th minute, Miciah Madison launched the ball across the box where she found Samantha Jehnings at the lower left post where she lay the ball in the goal, comfortably to lead the Dons 1-0.
At the 10th minute, Madison not only assisted the pass for the first goal of the match, but she scored the second goal of the game from Lizzie Lueken's free kick that bounced off of the cross bar that landed right next to Madison's foot to extend the lead, 2-0.
