BERKELEY, Calif. – The University of San Francisco women's tennis team is set to compete in the Cal Fall Invitational starting on Friday, Sept. 29 and running through Sunday, Oct. 1, at the Hellman Tennis Complex and Channing Tennis Courts.
The Dons, fresh off competing at the Battle in the Bay last weekend, look to continue the fall season on a high note. Erin Richardson and Katerina Filip, competing for the first time in doubles play, earned an 8-5 first-round win over Colorado at the California Tennis Club.
The Cal Fall Invitational includes players from 16 teams – Cal, BYU, Cal Poly, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Long Beach State, Nevada, Pacific, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, San Francisco, San Jose State, UC Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Stanford and Utah, competing for singles and doubles titles.
