SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference announced on Thursday afternoon that the USF Dons women's tennis team was picked to finish fourth in the conference this season, following the team's appearance in the WCC Championships semifinals.
USF returns a veteran roster led by graduate student Rita Colyer and junior Maria Martinez Vaquero, who were picked to last season's All-WCC doubles second team due to their strong tandem that helped the Dons finish 8-2 in their home matches last season.
Martinez Vaquero was also picked to the All-WCC singles second team as the number one player in the USF lineup for the majority of the season.
