ST. GEORGE, Utah – The University of San Francisco women's golf team opened the BYU at Entrada Classic hosted by the Cougars at the Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club with a strong opening round. However, rough conditions in the final 18 holes of the day saw USF fall from fourth to a tie at seventh.
After 36 holes, USF is tied for seventh with a 28-over 604 (294-310). The Dons opened the tournament with a very strong first round of 294, the seventh lowest round of the day, on the par-72 course. However, in the afternoon round, the Dons finished 22 over.
