SPOKANE, Wash. – The University of San Francisco women's golf team continued its hike up the leaderboard on the final day and will finish the West Coast Conference Championships in third place, after shooting a 36-over 888 (310-286-292) for the tournament. The Dons once again shot well, finishing the round with an 8-over 292.
USF finishes the season with its second best score over 54 holes for the season; the 888 trailed only the 877 carded at the Las Vegas Collegiate International. The Dons had two golfers crack the top-10, led by freshman Annika Borrelli, who was the top freshman in the tournament, and junior Samantha Gong who once again made a dramatic climb on the board to finish at a tie for eighth.
