SPOKANE, Wash. – After the opening round of the WCC Championships University of San Francisco women's golf team sits in fifth place after shooting a 26-over 310 at the par-71 Manito Golf and Country Club.
Collectively, the Dons struggled on the green in the front-9, collecting just one birdie as a team. On the back-9 USF was much stronger as the Dons carded eight birdies as a team. There were no low scores on the day as only one player out of 25 in the tournament finished even par.
"Tough day for the Dons in our first round," said head coach Sara Doell.
