SAN BRUNO — University of San Francisco women's basketball forward Mikayla Williams' monster performance Saturday not only helped the Dons earn a come-from-behind victory over Sacramento State, but Monday, netted her West Coast Conference Co-Player of the Week Honors for the week of Dec. 9-15.
Williams notched her WCC-leading fourth double-double Saturday, and second in a row, with a season-high 29 points and 15 rebounds to help lead San Francisco to a comeback, 87-82, non-conference win over the Hornets.
Williams was clutch in leading the Dons to victory, scoring 10 points in the final five minutes of the game when USF still trailed 75-74.
