SAN BRUNO, Calif. — University of San Francisco women's basketball sophomore forward Leilah Vigil was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week Monday for the week of Feb. 3-9 after posting back-to-back double-doubles, achieving a new career high and netting a game-winning basket.
Vigil turned in back-to-back double-doubles in two games last week and scored what was the eventual game-winning basket for the Dons on Saturday versus Loyola Marymount. She averaged 20.5 points and 13 rebounds per game during the week with her WCC-leading ninth and 10th double-doubles of the season.
