SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Thanks to another week of averaging a double-double, this time turning in her WCC-leading 13th and 14th double-doubles on the year, Leilah Vigil was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 24-March 1.
Vigil helped lead San Francisco to two road wins to end the regular season, both of the come-from-behind variety. Monday's award was Vigil's second WCC Player of the Week nod this season after also earning it on Feb. 10.
Thursday, she scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while tying her career high with three 3-pointers as the Dons erased a seven-point deficit at Pacific to come from behind and win.
