SAN FRANCISCO — She was on the floor for one reason, and one reason only.
And she came through.
San Diego's Erica Martinsen played all of two minutes Thursday, and in the game's final 23.3 seconds, she stood five feet off the 3-point line waiting for a pass. When it came, she sank a go-ahead 3-pointer with 2.5 seconds left – her only shot of the night – leading the Toreros to a nail-biting 61-58 West Coast Conference win over the University of San Francisco women's basketball team at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.
