SAN FRANCISCO — The University of San Francisco women's basketball team led early and charged hard late on Monday, but visiting Idaho's 3-point shooting caught fire in the second and third quarters, as the Vandals came from behind then held on for a narrow, 66-60, non-conference win at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.

- The Dons (2-2) led by as much as seven in the first quarter thanks to the defense holding Idaho (2-1) to just 3 for 14 shooting with two turnovers to start. Then Gina Marxen took over, scoring eight consecutive points for the Vandals with two 3-pointers.
