SAN FRANCISCO – The head coach of the University of San Francisco women's basketball team, Molly Goodenbour, has now officially become the most winningest coach in USF history through 50 games. After yesterday's contest, which marked her 50th contest, the second-year coach has a record of 27-23. She finished last year's campaign with an 18-13 mark, and is currently working her way through the West Coast Conference with a 4-4 record (9-10 overall) so far.
The seventh coach in USF history, Coach Goodenbour's winning percentage now stands at 54.0 percent (27-23). The previous owners of the accolade were Sue Rojcewicz (1982-87) and Mary Hile-Nepfel (2000-06), each with 25-25 (.
