LAS VEGAS – For the sixth consecutive year, the University of San Francisco women's basketball team advanced past the first round of the West Coast Conference Championships. The Dons (16-14, 11-8) took down Loyola Marymount (19-11, 11-7), 89-76, Thursday evening at The Orleans Arena. In the win, the Dons tied a WCC Championships record, knocking down 14 3-point field goals. Anna Seilund attributed for six of those in her career-high tying performance.
With her 18 first-half points (5-for-9), Seilund helped the Dons get out to as much as a 16-point lead.
