SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- After spending the previous weekend bouncing around Colorado, the USF Dons volleyball team (7-4) is back to work in the City by the Bay, as they will host the Santa Clara Broncos (4-8) on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. from War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.
The Dons enter the 18-match conference schedule with a lot of momentum from the successful non-conference season which saw the team win their first two weekend tournaments of the season as they raced out to a 6-0 record. Led by impactful newcomers Claire Crjins and Maria Petokva alongside key returners Shyia Richardson and Orsula Staka, USF has been attacking opponents offensively and utilizing their size upfront to make scoring chances for the other teams difficult.
