SAN FRANCISCO – After posting their best conference record since 2001-02, the USF women's basketball team will be heading into this week's West Coast Conference Championships as a No. 4 seed slated to matchup against No. 5 seed Loyola Marymount at 8 p.m. on Thursday from The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
USF's No. 4 seed is its highest since earning a No. 4 seed in 2002-03. The Dons (17-12, 11-7 WCC) will have momentum on their side heading into this year's tournament after winning their final four regular season games, including an 89-73 defeat of LMU this past Thursday at home.
