SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Wrapping up the weekend on a high note, the USF Dons baseball team (6-2) earned an 11-5 victory on Sunday afternoon against the Villanova Wildcats (1-9) thanks to a middle inning offensive explosion at Benedetti Diamond.
Trailing 1-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth, the Dons scored 11 total runs across the fifth through seventh innings with contributions up and down the lineup as the sibling duo of and combined to go 5-for-8 at the plate with with six runs scored, three RBI and a pair of walks against the Wildcats.

- The early stages of the game were marked with strong starting pitching as Dons' starter Max Jones kept the Wildcats off the scoreboard up until the top of the fourth as Villanova scratched across the first run of the game on an RBI single.
