Box Score SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco men's soccer team scored a season-high five goals en route to defeating San José State, 5-2, in a non-conference match on Friday night at Negoesco Stadium. USF improved its record to 2-7-0 while SJSU dropped to 2-5-0 on the season. The Dons blitzed the Spartans early and often scoring three goals in the first half over an 11-minute span. Junior midfielder Santiago Digiuseppe got things rolling for the Dons in the 22nd minute when he slotted a ball with his left foot underneath Spartans goalkeeper David Heredia for his third goal of the season.
