SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The San Francisco men's tennis team extended their winning streak to four, downing Santa Clara 4-3 at Degheri Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.
The Dons now stand at 10-12 on the season with a 5-3 mark in West Coast Conference play. Peaking at the right time, USF has earned victories in six of its last seven opponents. Meanwhile, Santa Clara moves to 14-5 (4-4 WCC) as the Dons overtook the Broncos in the league standings.
"We battled a tough Bronco team and won four singles matches to get the W," exclaimed USF head coach Pablo Pires de Almeida.
